Transportation Solution
The Need A Client in the Transportation sector was looking to consolidate its current accounting system with a payment solution that would allow them to apply payments to multiple invoices in one transaction. The objective was to simplify bookkeeping procedures by limiting the number of transactions and minimize banking fees, and by gaining the advantage of Level III large ticket rate qualification.
The Solution The Skipjack designed and implemented solution met these goals by including an import feature that allowed the Client to import up to forty-five invoices into a single transaction. The payment solution also provided an export utility to enable nearly-seamless integration into the Client’s accounting system.
The Results Increased efficiency in accounting and processing was a big gain for the Client, but by far the largest benefit was being able to achieve savings in excess of $17,000 a month in interchange rates and processing fees. The Client has gone on to work on two more similar projects with Skipjack Professional Services for different divisions of the business, seeing similar savings with these projects.
